Scott Verville is a multi-talented, well-rounded musician. His full-time job as a Navy musician has taken him around the world performing music for thousands in many foreign countries as well as many of the United States. He performs on guitar, trumpet, sings, and composes for a variety of ensembles within the Navy Band. While earning a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from the University of Central Florida and a Masters Degree in Jazz Composition and Arranging from the University of South Florida, Scott performed in many different rock and top 40 bands in the Orlando area where he honed his skills as a guitarist, singer and composer. He also performed at Disney World and Sea World theme parks as a trumpet instrumentalist to help make ends meet. After finishing grad school, he worked with the Army Band for 4 years as a musician. His duties included guitarist and lead vocalist of the rock band, solo and lead trumpet in the jazz bands, and staff arranger. After his tour with the Army, Scott immediately joined on with the Navy Music Program where he’s been performing ever since. Scott really enjoys being a military musician; he literally is getting to perform music in all parts of the globe.

Today, along with performing in the Navy Band on a daily basis, he pursues his own music on the outside. While living in Hawaii, Scott released a solo artist CD simply entitled “VERVILLE,” that landed him a spot as an IMG Records artist. IMG re-released the CD under their label, and it can be found for sale at all your favorite internet locations. While Scott lived in New Orleans, LA he released a CD with his friend and duo partner Mishell Hoffman. The CD entitled Red-n-Verv can also be found at all your favorite internet locations.
