In this guitar lesson I’ll show you a great practice routine to play all the string bending licks we’ve learned thus far in time.  I will also talk about and show you how to change the lick from a duple meter sounding lick into a triple meter sounding lick. At the end I also show you one more quick modification to even get more tonal variety from this basic string bending technique.  Remember to practice with a metronome and start at a reasonable tempo before speeding up.  Also make sure to really concentrate on the time when you change from duple to triple meter which will create the hemiola effect if played correctly.  This simple switch in the feel is a really cool thing to do, but only if your timing is accurate.  Please leave a comment here or on my You Tube channel if you have questions or any suggestions.  Happy practicing.
