My custom US Masters Guitars
Here are my 2 custom designed US Masters Guitars. I am proud to be a US Masters Guitar-Works artist. These guys are making some of the best guitars out there today. They have incredible attention to detail which makes these axes a dream to play as well as look at. The first guitar I had designed for me was the EP design. I was able to talk to Dave and Dick, the owners and luthiers of US Masters, and make special requests on wood choices, electronics, bridge models, etc.. This guitar has a mahogany body with a quilted maple top, a birdseye maple neck and fretboard and a Floyd Rose tremelo system. I also chose US Masters Versatek pickup system which is 2 humbuckers that can be coil tapped by using a 5 way selector for a wide variety of tones. Being able to call the company and get a custom order is a testament to the custom luthiers out there today verses buying a production model guitar. Which brings me to my second guitar.
The custom designed Sportster. After a lengthy conversation with Dave on the requirements I needed out of my next guitar, we worked together in designing this incredibly beautiful and powerful guitar. This guitar is literally the best guitar I’ve owned and can cover virtually any style of music that I need to play. With the Versatek pick-up package again and the acoustic bridge option which allows me to run the guitar as acoustic and electric at the same time with two separate input jacks, or switch between the 2 with a toggle switch it is the ultimate tool for one guitar player to sound like two. This Sportster has a mahogany body with a gorgeous spalted flame maple top, a maple neck with an ebony fretboard, a fixed bridge and Sperzel locking tuners.
In my job as a Navy guitarist, I am often faced with being the only guitarist in the band needing to cover 2 guitar parts at once, or switch between an acoustic and electric within the same song. These 2 US Masters guitars were the solution to the situations I and many guitarists face on day to day basis.
Thank you to Dave and Dick and the US Masters Guitar-Works team for designing these incredible American made guitars.

Buying a new guitar is always an exciting process for the beginner or experienced guitarist. A basic knowledge of the instrument and an assessment of your musical goals will help you make a wise purchase, a purchase you can enjoy for years, perhaps even a lifetime All guitars produce sound through the vibration of the strings.
